How to use CloudTalk with Salesloft

Set up integrated Salesloft to merge contacts and information through the CloudTalk interface

This article will talk briefly about how Salesloft's data transfers and synchronizes into the CloudTalk interface. There's a separate article for help with integrating Salesloft into CloudTalk.

How It Works

Contacts

Contacts are imported when you first add the integration. Afterwards, any new or updated contacts in CloudTalk or Salesloft are synchronized immediately after you changes are saved from either interface.

Contacts are merged when multiple Salesloft Contacts have the same phone number, email address, or name. See Merging Contacts for details.

Calls

  • Create Call activities in Salesloft for CloudTalk calls

    • Users can limit the calls which are sent out by assigning specific CloudTalk numbers in the Connected numbers section. See Additional Info in this guide to configuration for help.

    • Calls are linked to their Salesloft person and account.

    • Calls do not currently appear in the Call section of Salesloft. Please contact Salesloft if you'd like to request this feature.

    • Inbound missed calls are assigned to the Salesloft user who initially added the integration.

  • Create notes in Salesloft for CloudTalk SMS

    • Users can limit the SMS messages which are sent out by assigning specific CloudTalk numbers in the Connected numbers for SMS section. See Additional Info in this guide to configuration for help.

    • SMS messages are linked to their Salesloft person and account.

    • Inbound SMS notes are always assigned to the user who user who initially added the integration.
