This guide covers how to set up and use the CloudTalk + Salesloft integration. You’ll learn the prerequisites, authentication steps, and customization options.
User Level:
Admin
Before you begin, ensure that:
Your CloudTalk account is on an Essential, Expert, or Custom plan
You have an active Salesloft account
You hold admin rights in both CloudTalk and Salesloft
Adding Salesloft into CloudTalk
Login to your CloudTalk Dashboard.
Go to Account -> Integrations.
In the Add Integration section, find Salesloft. Scroll over the company icon and click
+ Add
.Optional - Give your integration a unique name (useful for companies with separate Salesloft integrations for different teams)
Under the Workflow Settings header, click
New Authentication
.You will be redirected to Salesloft, where you must login to your account. After logging in to Salesloft, this tab will close.
Click
Finish
to save your authentication.
Additional Tips
To only log calls for specific CloudTalk numbers, add desired numbers to the Connected numbers section of the Salesloft Integration page.
To only log SMS messages for specific CloudTalk numbers, add desired numbers to the Connected numbers for SMS section of the Salesloft Integration page.
Check the top of the page - make sure your Integration is set to Active.
When changing settings, always click
Save
.
Making Calls Directly From Salesloft
Before you begin, ensure that 3rd Party Dialer Settings are enabled in your Salesloft account. To do this, contact your Salesloft Customer Success Manager and request that the setting be activated.
Once 3rd-Party Dialer Settings are enabled:
Log into your Salesloft account and navigate to Settings -> Dialer.
Configure your Settings in such a way that they match the below screenshot, afterwards clicking
Save
.
