Our Coverage

CloudTalk partners with a wide network of global carriers to offer comprehensive number porting services. If your number isn’t listed under standard coverage, we may still be able to port it, especially if you are moving from another VoIP provider.

General Pricing Notes

  • All prices are in EUR and apply per phone number.
  • You can submit an unlimited quantity of numbers in a request, but all numbers must belong to a single carrier.
    • If your numbers come from different carriers, they will need to be segmented into multiple requests.
  • Pricing depends on number type (e.g., geographic, national, mobile, toll-free).
  • For bulk requests (100+ numbers or 10+ requests), we’ll calculate a custom quote.

FAQ

  • Why isn’t the country/number type not listed?
It may be non-portable. Some countries place limits on which types of numbers can or cannot be ported. However, if your number is already hosted by one of our partner carriers (e.g., if you’re moving from another VoIP provider), we may still be able to migrate it. Contact us at [email protected] to confirm.
  • Why are some numbers not portable?
Portability depends on local telecom laws and carrier capabilities. Mobile numbers, in particular, often require special permissions from national mobile operators.
  • Why is porting not free?
Porting involves backend processing costs from our partner carriers. Fees cover these carrier-imposed charges and vary based on number type and country.
  • How is pricing determined?
The porting fee is calculated upfront based on the number type and location. You’ll receive an estimate before the request is processed.
  • Is there a monthly fee after porting?
Yes. Once ported, the number is billed like any other CloudTalk number of the same country and type.
  • Why does porting take a long time?
Multiple parties (losing carrier, gaining carrier, intermediaries) must coordinate and authorized number porting. Delays can also arise due to country-specific regulations.
  • Are processing times guaranteed?
No. Timelines are based on historical averages and may vary depending on carrier responsiveness and region-specific legal requirements.
