CloudTalk can confirm in writing that a phone number is assigned to your company. This article explains when you might need this and how to request it.
When you might need it
Some third parties ask you to prove that a phone number belongs to your business. The most common example is Meta Business Verification, which you need to use WhatsApp with more than two numbers or to send templated messages. Banks and other partners may ask for the same. If the number is a CloudTalk number, our Numbers team can issue a letter confirming that it’s assigned to your company. How to request it
Contact Support and include:- The phone number in full international format (for example,
+442012345678) - Your registered company name and company registration number
- Your registered business address
- What the letter is for (for example, “Meta Business Verification”)
What happens next
Support passes your request to our Numbers team, who check that the number is active on your account and then prepare the letter and send it to you. This isn’t available as a self-service option. If you need the letter by a certain date, mention it in your request.Need help or have a question? Just reach out through our Support portal — we’re here for you.
