Accessing Cloudtalk Phone

To open CloudTalk Phone for the first time after logging into the Dashboard, follow these steps:
  1. Navigate to your CloudTalk Dashboard
  2. In the top panel of the CloudTalk Dashboard, click the phone icon in the top-left corner, next to the Get Rewarded button.
  3. A pop-up window will appear. In this window, you can:
    1. Click Open app to launch the CloudTalk Phone if it’s already installed
    2. Click Launch in browser to use the web-based version
    3. Use the download links to install the CloudTalk desktop app for your operating system
For quick access, you can pin the CloudTalk app to your taskbar (Windows), Dock (Mac), or launcher/panel (Linux), depending on your system.

Installing CloudTalk Phone on Mac

The installation package for Mac users is delivered as a dmg package. To install the CloudTalk Phone on your computer, please follow the instructions below.
  1. Download the installation file for Mac from our website.
  1. Open the file. When your download is complete, double-click it to open.
In case you are unable to open the downloaded file, you need to change your security settings. To do this, navigate to the apple icon in the top left of your Mac, access System Settings, and then find Privacy & Security. You’ll need to ensure the following option is enabled as shown below:
Drag and drop CloudTalk Phone app into the Applications folder.
  1. Open the application directly in your Applications folder or your spotlight search.
Pro Tip: You can keep the application pinned in the dock. Simply two-finger tap ( or right click) on the app in the Dock. Hover over “Options”. Tap on “Keep In Dock”.
Once the installation is successfully complete, you can immediately start using the app. Read more about some of the app’s features here.

Installing CloudTalk Phone on Windows

The app for Windows users is delivered as an EXE installation package. To install the app on your Windows computer, please follow the instructions below.
  1. Download the installation file for Windows. CloudTalk Desktop supports Windows 10 and Windows 11. Older systems such as Windows 7, 8 and 8.1 are no longer supported.
  2. Double-click the downloaded file.
Important notice: If the file cannot be installed, you need to click on More info and confirm the installation again.
The installation will now start:
  1. As soon as the installation is complete, the app will launch automatically.

Silent Installation (Windows)

The Windows installer can be run silently from the command line, without displaying the installation wizard. This is useful for automated deployments across multiple machines.
  1. Download the installation file for Windows from our website.
  2. Open Command Prompt or PowerShell in the folder containing the downloaded file.
  3. Run the installer with one of the following parameters (both are supported):
"name-of-the-downloaded-file.exe" /S "name-of-the-downloaded-file.exe" /qn
Note: CloudTalk Phone for Windows is distributed as an EXE installer only. An MSI package is not available.

Installing CloudTalk Phone on Linux

The app for Linux users is delivered as AppImage. To install the app on your computer, please follow the instructions below.
  1. Download the installation file for Linux.
  1. Double-click the downloaded file.
Important notice: If you are unable to open the downloaded file, you need to set the file as executable. Right-click on the file, select Properties in the context menu and under the Permissions tab, tick the “Allow executing file as program” checkbox.
  1. The app will launch and it will automatically be displayed among your other apps.
And that’s it. Once the installation is successfully complete, you can immediately start using the app.
