This article explains the email CloudTalk sends when we update our Terms and Conditions or Privacy Notice, and what action (if any) you need to take.

Why did I get this email?

CloudTalk periodically updates its Terms and Conditions and Privacy Notice to reflect product, legal, or regulatory changes. When we do, we send a notice to every customer’s account email address, as required by our agreements with you. This is a standard legal notice, not a request for a specific action on your account.

Do I need to do anything?

In most cases, no. The updated terms apply automatically once the notice period in the email has passed. If you believe the changes would cause a material detriment to your business, you can reply to the email (or to [email protected]) within 10 days of receiving it to raise your concern. If we don’t hear from you within that window, the changes take effect automatically.

Where can I read the full documents?

The email links to the current Terms and Conditions and Privacy Notice pages, which always show the latest version.

What if my account is covered by a Master Service Agreement or Phone System Agreement?

If your relationship with CloudTalk is governed by an MSA or Phone System Agreement, these updates are treated as amendments under the relevant clause of that agreement. Any derogations in your signed agreement from the standard terms continue to apply to the fullest extent. Need help or have a question? Just reach out through our Support portal — we’re here for you.
