Here's a general overview of how CloudTalk integrates with SIP.

What is SIP?

SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) is a subset of VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol). You can use a variety of SIP "hard phones" (hardware-based) or soft phones (software-based) with CloudTalk. Basically, any device or application capable of working with SIP can be integrated with CloudTalk.

Find SIP Login Details

In order to configure your phone, you will need authentication credentials which can be found in our dashboard within Agents. Credentials are agent specific. Select the pencil icon next to an agent's name to view SIP details for that agent.

Though we don't have specified guides for every SIP provider, we do have resources for MicroSIP, Linphone, CSipSimple, CiscoIPPhone, and Zoiper.

Usually, you will enter the Username credentials from CloudTalk in the format <Username>@<Server> and the phone will then set up the the configuration automatically. As no authentication proxy is used with CloudTalk, you won't need further info beyond what is provided.
