MicroSIP is a free, lightweight VoIP client for Windows, often used on older 32-bit systems. You can connect it to CloudTalk’s SIP server to make and receive calls.

Finding Your CloudTalk SIP Login Details

To connect any third-party SIP app, you’ll need SIP account credentials, which are different from your Dashboard or CloudTalk app login details.

  • For Administrators:

    1. Go to the Agents tab in your Dashboard.

    2. Select the agent and click the Edit icon (blue pencil).

    3. Scroll to the bottom of the profile to see the Username, Password, and Server.

  • For Agents:

    1. Open My Profile in your Dashboard.

    2. Scroll down to find your SIP login information.

Important: If SIP login details are not visible, this option hasn’t been enabled for your account. An administrator can request activation from our Support team.

Setting Up MicroSIP

  1. Download MicroSIP

    • Run the installer and proceed with the default settings (just keep clicking Next).

  2. Add Your Account

    • Open MicroSIP.

    • Go to Menu → Add Account.

  3. Enter Your Credentials
Fill in the fields as follows:

    • User* = CloudTalk SIP Username

    • Domain* = CloudTalk SIP Server

    • Password = CloudTalk SIP Password

    • Transport = UDP

  4. Save and Confirm

    • Click Save.

    • Return to the main dialing screen.

    • In the lower-left corner, your status should show Online with a green icon.

You’re all set! MicroSIP is now connected to CloudTalk.

A note about 3rd party apps: We recommend using CloudTalk native apps whenever possible. Third-party apps like MicroSIP may not support some features (such as Voicemail Drop or SMS) and we cannot provide full technical support for them.
