MicroSIP is a simple free computer app for older 32-bit systems that you can use to access CloudTalk’s SIP server.

CloudTalk SIP Login details and where to find them:

In order to connect a 3rd party SIP app, you will need to use SIP account login details, which are different from your dashboard / CT app login details. You can find the login details in the dashboard.

If you are an administrator level user, you can open the Agents tab to open the list of agent profiles, then click on the Edit button next to their name (blue pencil) to reveal their profile settings, and scroll to the bottom to see the Username, Password and Server.

As an agent, you can open the My Profile tab and find your SIP login information there.

Important notice: If you do not see the SIP login information displayed in either section, this option has not been enabled for your account. Your account administrator can request activation of SIP Login from our support.

MicroSIP setup:

Download the app at, launch the installation process and just keep clicking on Next. The installation will be quick.

Once the app is launched, you will need to add your CloudTalk user account.

1. Open your MicroSIP app, go to Menu -> Add Account.

2. Fill out the login information as follows:

- User* = CT SIP Login Username
- Domain* = CT SIP Login Server

  • Password field is named the same.

  • In the Transport field, select UDP.

3. Click on Save.

You should now return back to the main / dialing screen. In the lower left corner, your status should change to Online with a green icon next to it.

And that's it!

The app should now be ready to use.

Important notice: we always recommend using CloudTalk native apps, as 3rd party apps may not support certain features of CloudTalk - such as Voicemail Drop, or SMS, etc. Please also be aware that we are unable to provide full customer and technical support for 3rd party applications.
