How to setup Zoiper

A guide to setting up Zoiper for the first time

You can use Zoiper either as a desktop or mobile application. It is available for all major platforms (Windows, Linux, Mac, Android, iOS).

Download and install the Zoiper application

For desktop, click on the link below and select your platform. Once downloaded, install it on your workstation.

For the mobile application, go to the AppStore or Google Play store.

Add account

Once you open the application, it will ask you to add your account. Credential details can be found in your Dashboard, under Agent at the bottom of the page. For more in-depth information on this- check the SIP device guide linked at the bottom of this page.

  1. Adding credentials:

Username / Login - <<Username>>@<<Server>>

Password - <<Password>>

2. After you enter the credentials, click on Login in the case of the desktop app or Create account if you are using the mobile app.

3. The application will ask you to enter a Server hostname. It should be automatically populated from the previous screen. If not, enter <<Server>> value found in Agent credentials and click on Next.

4. The screen will ask for Authentication and Outbound proxy. We do not use this feature at CloudTalk, so just press Skip.

5. The application will automatically check for the best method of connection to CloudTalk. It should always be SIP TCP. Once finished, click on Next.

Great! You should now be logged in and can start using Zoiper!
