Before you add the Gong.io into CloudTalk, make sure that you have purchased and set up your account in Gong.io. Also, don't forget that importing telephony system calls are enabled in your data capture settings.
If you’re not a Technical Administrator in Gong.io, ask someone who is to add the integration for you.
Note: You need to be a Technical Administrator in Gong to approve OAuth access.
Adding Gong.io into CloudTalk
Log into CloudTalk Dashboard account
Click on Account > Integrations in the left sidebar menu
Select Gong.io integration and click on the "+Add" button to install the integration
You will be redirected to Gong.io, click "Allow" to connect CloudTalk and Gong.io. This is an OAuth integration.
You will be redirected back to CloudTalk where you can customize your integration settings.
CloudTalk Integration Settings
Caption - The name of your integration under Account > Integrations.
Useful if you have multiple Gong accounts, connected to CloudTalk.
Log calls between internal contacts → Enable/Disable
This allows you to send agents their call recordings.
Log calls in Gong.io for unassociated call numbers → Enable/Disable
Sends calls to Gong.io for those phone numbers that aren’t associated with Gong.io contacts.
This allows you to send call recordings only from specific CloudTalk numbers.
