Learn where to find AI-generated topics, call summaries, and sentiment on past calls in the AI Sales Dialer.

User Level: Admin, Agent

When Conversational Intelligence (CI) is enabled on your account, the AI Sales Dialer automatically analyzes your calls and shows AI-generated data in the Activity section of the Client info panel. This includes topics discussed, a call summary, and sentiment analysis. They appear on past calls so agents have context when calling a contact again.

Requirements

  • Conversational Intelligence (CI) must be enabled on your account. If you don't see CI data on past calls, CI may not be active. Contact your admin or account manager.

  • CI data appears only on calls that were long enough for the AI to analyze. Very short calls may not generate insights.

Where to find them

  1. Open a campaign session in the dialer. See Running a campaign in the AI Sales Dialer.

  2. Select a contact who has been called before.

  3. Expand a past call in the Activity section of the Client info panel.

  4. The CI data appears below the call details.

💡 The data is generated after a call ends. It won't appear during a live call, only on completed calls in the activity history.

What CI shows

Each past call can show the following:

  • Call tags. The disposition and any tags the agent applied to the call (e.g., "Successful, positive outcome," "Support"). These are set by the agent, not generated by AI.

  • Topics extraction. AI-detected topics discussed during the call, shown as color-coded chips (e.g., "Accessibility Needs," "Customer Service Hours," "Email Communication"). This gives agents a quick scan of what was covered without reading a transcript.

  • Call summary. A short AI-generated summary of the conversation. For example: "The call was to discuss their products. The contact expressed interest and provided their email for further information." This helps an agent picking up a follow-up call understand what happened last time.

  • Sentiment analysis. An overall sentiment reading for the call (e.g., "Call was mostly positive"). Helps managers and agents gauge how conversations are going at a glance.

Why this matters for campaign dialing

When an agent reaches the same contact again (a retry or a scheduled callback), CI gives them instant context from the previous conversation without having to listen to the recording or read notes. The agent can see what topics were discussed, how the call went, and what the sentiment was, all in a few seconds before dialing.
