🇸🇬 Singapore Number Porting Guide

A guide for porting your Singaporean numbers to CloudTalk

CloudTalk supports porting of local Singaporean numbers via SingTel. This guide outlines what you’ll need to prepare and what to expect during the process.

⚠️ National, Mobile, and Toll-free portability is not supported in Singapore.

2. Submit Your Request

You can request number porting using the International Porting Form.

3. Submit LOA

You’ll need to submit a signed Letter of Authorization -will be provided over email after submitting your request. You can proceed with the International Porting Form.

Required Documents For Number Porting

Typically in Singapore, the porting documents will need to be filled by the current service provider.

Check with your current provider to ensure if the porting documents need to be filled by you as the end user or by them as the losing service provider.

  • Signed SingTel LOA (Letter of Authorization)

  • Completed SingTel Singapore Portability Form - Both will be provided over email after submitting your request. You can proceed with the International Porting Form without attaching the LOA or Portability Form.

  • Most Recent Invoice from the Current Service Provider

  • Business registration from ACRA

Online database is called BIZfile. Local Singapore companies are able to download their own extract insided the portal for free.


Porting Process Overview

  1. Submit Your Porting Request
    Send your request to the CloudTalk Porting Team to begin the process.

  2. Initial Review
    Cloudtalk team'll verify number portability and confirm the next steps.

  3. Documentation Collection
    Complete and sign the LOA (Letter of Authorization), and provide a recent invoice from your current telecom provider.

  4. Submission to Carrier
    CloudTalk submits your request to our partner carrier, who then forwards it to your current provider.

  5. Approval or Rejection

    • If approved, Cloudtalk team will confirm the porting date (typically 2–4 business days in advance).

    • If rejected, Cloudtalk team will share the reason and guide you on how to correct and resubmit the request.

Incomplete or unsigned SingTel LOA

Ensure the official SingTel LOA is fully completed and signed by an authorized representative

Missing or incorrect SingTel Portability Form

Use the latest template provided by CloudTalk and fill in all required fields accurately

Outdated or missing invoice

Submit an invoice from your current provider dated within the last 30 days, showing the number(s) to be ported

Business registration not provided or invalid

Include a valid ACRA business registration that matches the LOA and invoice details

Mismatched company name or service address

Ensure that the company name and address are identical across all submitted documents

Premature submission without required documents

If submitting via the International Porting Form, ensure the SingTel LOA and Portability Form follow soon after via email.


On Porting Day

  • The number will be activated in CloudTalk

  • Your previous provider will release and deactivate the number

  • You’ll begin receiving inbound calls through CloudTalk

  • CloudTalk billing begins the same day
