By integrating Pipedrive with CloudTalk, you'll get call center capabilities in Pipedrive. Agents will have a comprehensive understanding of the customer in a single interface. Therefore, it will make you more productive.

Configure your Pipedrive integration

  1. Login to CloudTalk Dashboard account here.

  2. Click on Account -> Integrations in the left sidebar menu.

  3. Select Pipedrive integration and click on "+Add" button to install the integration.

  4. You will be redirected to Pipedrive, then follow the authorization flow and you will be redirected back to CloudTalk.

5. Once you have completed these quick steps, your integration is ready. Now you can customize your integration according to your business needs.

6. Finally click on the Save button to activate the integration.

Integration customization:

  • Select which calls will be logged to Pipedrive (missed calls, voicemails, other inbound calls, outbound calls). The call will be logged as Pipedrive's activity. You can choose to log each type as in-progress or completed activity.

  • Pick which CloudTalk numbers should get linked to your Pipedrive integration. It will help you better organize your data.

  • Choose whether you want to log all calls or only calls made during business hours or when your lines are closed.

  • Decide how to tag your contacts in CloudTalk.

Once the integration with Pipedrive is running, your data will always be up-to-date. For every phone call logged in Pipedrive, there will be the following data present: the client’s phone number, date, time and length of the call, link to call recording etc.

Make calls directly from Pipedrive via CloudTalk Click-to-Call Extension

First, make sure you have our Click-to-Call extension installed and set up properly.

Secondly, you need to disable the Pipedrive default calling method, so that it's not conflicting with the extension.

How to do it:

  1. Go to your Pipedrive settings.

  2. Click on Calling in the left sidebar menu and then on Personal.

  3. Select Default calling method "Custom" and set the value to # (as shown on the screenshot below).

  4. Click on the Save button to confirm the changes.

Make calls directly from Pipedrive without Click-to-Call

There are two options how to easily dial a number from Pipedrive.

You can use Pipedrive Calling "Default calling method" feature to start a call directly from your Chrome browser, simply by clicking on a number in Pipedrive.

  1. Go to your Pipedrive settings.

  2. Click on Calling in the left sidebar menu and then on Personal.

  3. Select Default calling method "Custom" and copy+paste this text: "ct+tel://[number]" (don't change it) to the empty window right next to it. See screenshot below as a reference.

  4. Click on the Save button to confirm the changes.

  • Pro Tip: We recommend to remove all other Chrome extensions or other telco providers which may interfere with the click-to-call feature.

Important notice: Chrome no longer supports setting an app as default handler so this method asks if you want to open the CloudTalk Phone app every time you click a number. Therefore, we strongly recommend using our Click-To-Call extension instead.
