Using Pipedrive with Campaign Dialers

Set up campaigns, sync data, and export calls by integrating Pipedrive with the campaign dialers.

Learn how to use Pipedrive with the campaign dialers - from importing contact lists and syncing audiences to configuring campaigns and exporting call data.

With Pipedrive and CloudTalk Dialer or Power dialer working together, teams can automate call tracking, streamline follow-ups, and keep CRM data effortlessly up to date. Call outcomes are logged directly into Pipedrive as custom Activity Types, ensuring every interaction is recorded without the need for manual updates.


Prerequisites

To use this setup, you need:

  • An Admin or Supervisor role in CloudTalk

  • One or more contact lists in Pipedrive that are accessible to all relevant users (no restricted access)


Importing Campaign Audience from a Pipedrive

To set up a campaign with an audience imported from Pipedrive, follow these steps.

  1. Go to Dialer > Campaigns, click + Add Campaign, and configure the campaign according to your requirements.

  2. In Basic Settings, there are two options for adding contacts to your campaign.

    1. For Contacts from your CRM, select CRM Contact List.

    2. Type or scroll to search and select the desired list by name.

    3. The list names you can choose from will be from contact lists in Pipedrive.

  3. If needed, go to Disposition Settings, set up disposition buttons, and map them to the appropriate Pipedrive activity types.

  4. Select Create Campaign and Confirm to finalize changes.

    1. Contacts from the selected list(s) in Pipedrive will automatically be added as campaign contacts.

How Pipedrive Lists Sync with CloudTalk Campaigns

The synchronization of contacts between Pipedrive and CloudTalk campaigns is automated and occurs once every 24 hours.

Once a day, CloudTalk imports contacts from the selected Pipedrive list into the campaign audience. During the same sync, it also checks the current audience in CloudTalk and removes any contacts that are no longer present in the selected Pipedrive list.

πŸ’‘ The sync occurs every 24 hours, starting from the exact time the campaign was created. So if the campaign was set up at 10:00 AM, the next sync will take place around 10:00 AM the following day.


Disposition Mapping to Pipedrive Activity Types

Disposition Mapping to Pipedrive Activity Types allows you to sync call dispositions from CloudTalk campaigns directly to custom Activity Types in Pipedrive, ensuring accurate and consistent tracking of call outcomes.

To set up disposition mapping:

  1. In CloudTalk Dialer > Campaigns, select or create a campaign.

  2. Navigate to the Disposition Settings tab.

  3. Use the Integration Mapping dropdown to match each disposition with a corresponding Pipedrive Activity Type.

  4. Save the settings, and all call results will sync automatically.


Exporting Dialer Calls to Pipedrive

When calls go through a campaign, CloudTalk automatically logs the call data into Pipedrive under the associated contact or deal. The following details are included:

  • Call dispositions mapped to custom activity types

  • Standard call details such as talk time, wrap-up time, associated contact, user, deal, and Conversation Intelligence data (if enabled)

This ensures all key information is tracked and accessible directly within Pipedrive, helping your team maintain a complete call history without manual updates.
