Minimum System Requirements

CloudTalk Go is a business-grade VoIP application built on modern frameworks like React Native, SIP.js, and react-native-webrtc. For the best performance, your Android device must meet these requirements:

Category

Requirement

Why It’s Needed

Android Version

Android 12 (API Level 31) or higher

Enables essential VoIP app features like foreground service limits, improved notifications, and updated permission models.

CPU Architecture

ARM64 (arm64-v8a)

Ensures compatibility with native modules for WebRTC, audio processing, and SIP signaling.

RAM

At least 3 GB

Required for stable performance with background services, call handling, and audio encoding.

Processor

Snapdragon 600 series or better

Needed for real-time audio handling with low latency and reliability.

Network

Stable Wi-Fi, LTE, or 5G

VoIP relies on uninterrupted internet to maintain high-quality calls.

Microphone

Required

Needed for real-time audio input. Make sure microphone permissions are granted in your Android settings.

Unsupported Devices

Oppo & Realme

These devices lack access to the “Calling accounts” setting, which is mandatory for VoIP apps using Android’s ConnectionService. Without this setting, CloudTalk Go:

  • Can’t register as a VoIP provider

  • Can’t ring when the app is closed or screen is locked

  • Can’t handle incoming calls through native call UI

CloudTalk Go cannot make or receive calls on Oppo or Realme devices.

Huawei Devices

Due to restrictions on Google Play Services:

  • Huawei devices don’t support Google Play Store

  • CloudTalk Go is not distributed via AppGallery

  • Huawei users cannot install the app or receive updates

How to Install & Set Up CloudTalk Go

  1. Open the Google Play Store and search for CloudTalk Go.

  2. Tap Install.

  3. Once installed, open the app.

  4. On first launch, you'll be prompted to select CloudTalk Go as a Calling account.

    • Toggle it ON (green)

    • Tap the back arrow on the top-left corner to return to the app

This enables incoming calls to be routed properly using Android’s native interface, even from a locked screen.
