Custom fields optimize all your contact details and let you collect just the information that is actually relevant for you. Each contact can contain various information fields. Every business is interested in different customer information, that’s why CloudTalk lets you add your own custom fields. 

You can create as many custom fields as you wish. Only those custom fields that have been filled in will be displayed.  You can add and remove custom fields in Account > Settings > Contacts by clicking on "Add a custom field":

If you have finished creating your custom fields, don’t forget to click "Save settings".  If you wish to cancel the changes you’ve made, just delete the name of the field and save the change. Empty fields will be automatically removed from all contacts.

New fields will be displayed in the Real-time Customer Card, in the contact’s detail or when adding or editing contacts. You can create custom fields even during the call.
