Configure Monday.com Integration

Connect CloudTalk with Monday.com to centralize your communication workflows, sync contact data, and enhance customer intelligence.

User level:

  • Admin


Prerequisites:

  • CloudTalk user with access to the Integrations section to the CloudTalk Dashboard.

  • Admin access to Monday.com.

Install the Monday integration

  1. Log into your CloudTalk Dashboard and navigate to Account > Integrations.

  2. Search for Monday.com and click on it.

  3. Click Connect Monday.com. You’ll be redirected to Monday’s login page.

  4. Sign in and grant CloudTalk access. After successful authentication, you’ll be redirected back to CloudTalk.

  5. On the Integration Configuration screen, set a custom Caption to identify this integration.

  6. Click Save to finalize the setup.

Install Monday.com recipes

Log call recipe configuration

  1. In Monday go to the workspace and board you want to connect to CloudTalk for call logging export.

  2. Navigate to Integrations → More Integrations

  3. Search for CloudTalk integration and select the CloudTalk - log call recipe

  4. Choose the destination where the call data will be logged after the call ends (either Timeline or Destination), along with the Phone column based on which the call export will be associated.

  5. Complete the setup by clicking the Create automation button.

💡 You may configure as many recipes as you need.

Initial contact sync recipe configuration

Initial contact sync to CloudTalk will be triggered by installation recipe to a required board.

  1. In Monday go to the workspace and board you want to connect to CloudTalk init contacts export.

  2. Navigate to Integrations → More Integrations

  3. Search for CloudTalk integration and select the CloudTalk - log call recipe

  4. Choose Synchronize contacts given by … and set matching columns and create automation

  5. Complete the setup by clicking the Create automation button.

Creation of the automation automatically trigger initial synchronization of contact from the board to CloudTalk. Notice that Monday integration on CloudTalk has to be enabled. Re-trigger of the sync is possible by removing and recreating of the recipe.

Event based contact sync recipe configuration

A column change in Monday.com will automatically initiate the contact sync.

  1. In Monday go to the workspace and board you want to connect to CloudTalk init contacts export.

  2. Navigate to Integrations → More Integrations

  3. Search for CloudTalk integration and select the CloudTalk - log call recipe

  4. Choose When any column changes … The field-map configuration is not needed here as the configuration is taken from created init synchronization recipe. Notice that the Init sync recipe is prerequisite for the event based sync. Without the init sync the event based sync will not work.

  5. Complete the setup by clicking the Create automation button.

If both the initial sync and the event-based sync are installed, editing a contact in Monday.com will update the corresponding contact in CloudTalk. If the contact does not already exist in CloudTalk, it will be created automatically.
