Custom attributes optimise all your contact details and let you collect just the information that is actually relevant for you. Each contact can contain various information fields. Every business is interested in different customer information, that’s why CloudTalk lets you add your own custom fields.
How to create custom attributes
You can make as many custom fields as you wish. Yet, only those custom fields will display that have been filled in. You can add and remove custom attributes in Account - Settings by scrolling down to Contacts and clicking on +Add custom attribute:
After you have finished creating your custom attributes, don’t forget to click on Save settings.
If you wish to cancel the changes you’ve made, just delete the name of the field and save the change. Empty fields will be automatically removed from all contacts.
New attributes will be displayed in the Real-time Customer Card, in the contact’s detail, and when adding or editing contacts. You can create custom attributes even during the call.
