You can define your business hours for the whole company or different business hours for individual phone numbers.
To configure business hours for the whole company, choose Account > Settings in the left side menu and go to Business Hours.
To configure business hours per phone number, click on Phone Numbers in the left side menu and select the phone number for which you would like to configure business hours. Click on the editing button.
In Settings, go to Business Hours.
Once you set up Business Hours for a particular phone number, global settings for the whole company will no longer apply and this specific rule will override the global rules.
How to set up your business hours:
Activating this button will open Business Hours settings.
Don’t forget to specify the type of action that CloudTalk should perform outside of your business hours:
Route the call to another phone number
Play a message
Play a message plus Voicemail (more information here)
When Business Hours feature is activated, your phone number will be automatically unavailable on bank holidays. You can view the list of bank holidays and switch off this feature if needed.
Now add a rule to your business hours to specify when you are available. Otherwise your call center will be permanently unavailable.
Do you need to set up different business hours for particular days? Instead of having to change your business hours completely, just add an exception. You can deactivate your contact center on a particular date for the whole day or during selected hours.
