How to Connect Greenhouse

To set up the integration, go to your CloudTalk Dashboard:

  1. Navigate to Account > Integrations

  2. Find Greenhouse and click + Add

  3. You’ll be asked to provide the following:

    • Your authentication name

    • API Key

    • Greenhouse Subdomain

4. After filling in the details, click Submit.

Where to Find Your Credentials

API Key

To generate an API key in Greenhouse:

  1. Go to Dev Center > API Credentials

  2. Click Create new API credentials

  3. In the popup:

    • Set API type to Harvest

    • Set Partner to Custom

    • Add a description

  4. Click Manage permissions to proceed and copy the key on the next screen

API Key Permissions

When configuring the Greenhouse integration, it’s important to ensure that the correct permissions are applied to your Harvest API key. These permissions are not configurable at the moment of key creation, but they must be edited afterward.

To update the API key permissions:

  1. Go to Greenhouse Settings.

  2. Navigate to the Dev Center > API Credential Management.

  3. Locate your CloudTalk API key, then click the Edit button next to it.

  4. In the Manage permissions section, ensure the following permissions are enabled:

  • GET: Retrieve Candidate

  • GET: List Candidates

  • POST: Add Note

  • GET: List Users

These permissions are required to allow CloudTalk to display candidates, log call activity, and associate notes with the correct users in Greenhouse.

Greenhouse Subdomain

This is the first part of your Greenhouse URL.

Example:

yourcompany.greenhouse.io → Subdomain = yourcompany

Integration Status

Once credentials are submitted:

  • You must toggle the Integration Status to Active manually before saving

  • You can add a Caption (name of the integration instance)

  • You can apply a Contact tag to synced candidates in CloudTalk

  • Select which numbers should be used for calls and SMS

Disconnect Greenhouse Integration

If you need to remove the integration:

  1. Go to Account > Integrations in your CloudTalk Dashboard

  2. Locate Greenhouse and click Configure

  3. Scroll down and click Delete Integration

  4. Type DELETE when prompted and confirm

The integration will now be removed from CloudTalk.
