Configure Workable

Integrate Workable with CloudTalk to automate workflows and sync candidate or job data between platforms.

This guide explains how to connect your Workable account with CloudTalk and authenticate the integration.

How to Integrate Workable

Step 1: Add the Integration

  1. Navigate to the integrations section in CloudTalk.

  2. Locate Workable and click Add.

Step 2: Authenticate with Workable

  1. Under Workflow settings, click on New authentication.

  2. You’ll be asked to provide:

  • Your Authentication Name

  • Access Token

  • Subdomain

  • Partner Client ID (Optional, can be requested via [email protected])

Where to find your Workable Access Token and Subdomain:

Access Token

  1. In Workable, go to Settings > Integrations.

  2. Scroll to API Access Tokens.

  3. Click Generate API token.

  4. Fill in the token name, set expiry (e.g., 1 year), and select the required scopes. Make sure to include the following scopes: r_candidates, w_candidates, and r_jobs.

  5. Click Generate token, then copy the access token from the list.

Subdomain

Your Workable subdomain is the first part of your Workable URL.
For example, if your Workable URL is:

https://cloudtalk.workable.com

Then your subdomain is:

cloudtalk

Step 3: Assign Numbers

Once authentication is successful, you can:

  • Select which CloudTalk numbers should be linked to Workable

  • Choose numbers for calls and/or messages (SMS)

Choose the appropriate numbers and click Submit to save.
