Key Features of the Shopify Integration

After connecting Shopify with CloudTalk, you’ll be able to:

✅ Import Shopify Customers into CloudTalk

Customer records in Shopify are automatically imported into CloudTalk, making them available for outbound calling and support.

Imported data includes:

  • Customer Name

  • Email address

  • Phone number

  • Tags

  • Addresses

  • Last order details

✅ Call and SMS Activity Logged in Shopify

After calls or SMS are made via CloudTalk, that activity can be logged directly into Shopify under the customer’s record.

Available call data includes:

  • Call direction and duration

  • Tags

  • Notes and recordings (if enabled)

  • SMS message content

The logged activity appears as internal customer notes in Shopify, keeping your communication history complete.

✅ Click-to-Call from Shopify

With the CTI enabled, you can initiate calls directly from Shopify. In your Shopify customer profile, phone numbers appear with a CloudTalk icon next to them (📞), like this:

Clicking the icon will launch your CloudTalk dialer and connect the call.

Make sure the CloudTalk extension or app is installed and active on your browser or desktop for click-to-call to function properly.

✅ View Shopify Order Data Inside CloudTalk

To view Shopify-related data in CloudTalk, navigate to the Contacts section and open a customer profile.

  1. From the Dashboard, go to Contacts.

  2. Click the magnifying glass icon next to the contact name to open the Contact Details panel.

  3. Under the Activity tab, you’ll find the customer’s Shopify Order Data, including:

    • Last order details (order ID, date, value, payment/shipping status)

    • Customer email and tags

    • Shipping/billing addresses
