This guide will help you connect Greenhouse with CloudTalk in just a few simple steps.

Before You Start
Before setting up the Greenhouse integration, make sure you have the following ready:
A Greenhouse account with access to the Dev Center and API Credential Management.
A Greenhouse Harvest API key with the following permissions enabled:
GET: Retrieve Candidate,GET: List Candidates,POST: Add Note, andGET: List Users. You can generate this in Greenhouse under Dev Center > API Credentials.Your Greenhouse subdomain which is the first part of your Greenhouse URL. For example, if your URL is
yourcompany.greenhouse.io, your subdomain isyourcompany.The email address you use in CloudTalk must match exactly with the email address in your Greenhouse account. If the emails do not match, synchronization will not work correctly.
Configure Greenhouse
In your CloudTalk Dashboard, navigate to Account > Integrations
Find Greenhouse and click + Add
You’ll be asked to provide the following:
Your authentication name
API Key
Greenhouse Subdomain
4. After filling in the details, click Submit.
Where to Find Your Credentials
API Key
To generate an API key in Greenhouse:
Go to Dev Center > API Credentials
Click Create new API credentials
In the popup:
Set API type to
HarvestSet Partner to
CustomAdd a description
Click Manage permissions to proceed and copy the key on the next screen
API Key Permissions
When configuring the Greenhouse integration, it’s important to ensure that the correct permissions are applied to your Harvest API key. These permissions are not configurable at the moment of key creation, but they must be edited afterward.
To update the API key permissions:
Go to Greenhouse Settings.
Navigate to the Dev Center > API Credential Management.
Locate your CloudTalk API key, then click the Edit button next to it.
In the Manage permissions section, ensure the following permissions are enabled:
GET: Retrieve CandidateGET: List CandidatesPOST: Add NoteGET: List Users
These permissions are required to allow CloudTalk to display candidates, log call activity, and associate notes with the correct users in Greenhouse.
Greenhouse Subdomain
This is the first part of your Greenhouse URL.
Example:
yourcompany.greenhouse.io → Subdomain = yourcompany
Customize Integration
Once credentials are submitted:
Toggle the Integration Status to Active.
Add a Caption to name the integration instance.
Apply a Contact tag to synced candidates in CloudTalk if needed.
Select which numbers should be used for calls and SMS.
Click Save to confirm.
Disconnect Greenhouse Integration
If you need to remove the integration:
Go to Account > Integrations in your CloudTalk Dashboard
Locate Greenhouse and click Configure
Scroll down and click Delete Integration
Type DELETE when prompted and confirm
The integration will now be removed from CloudTalk.
