How calls sync to Gong

Once the integration is active, CloudTalk automatically sends recorded calls to Gong for transcription and analysis. No manual steps are required after a call ends.

A call is sent to Gong only when all of the following are true:

  • The call was recorded

  • The CloudTalk agent is also a Gong user with the same email address

Calls can take from 5 to 10 min to appear in Gong after they end.

Reviewing calls in Gong

To find your CloudTalk calls in Gong:

  1. Log in to your Gong account.

  2. Navigate to Conversations in the left sidebar.

  3. Use filters (date, rep, team, duration) to locate the call.

  4. Click a call to open the call view.

Each call has five tabs:

  • Briefs: an AI-generated summary of the call. Includes the outcome, next steps, a recap of what was discussed, and prospect highlights. You can change the brief type and copy the content directly from this tab.

  • Outline: a structured breakdown of the conversation by topic, each with a timestamp so you can jump to that moment in the recording.

  • Transcript: the full spoken transcript, attributed to each speaker by name. Use the search bar to find specific words or phrases in the call.

  • Call Info: call metadata including title, date and time, language, AI-detected outcome, and participants. You can also associate the call with an account from this tab.

  • Points of interest: keyword trackers configured by your team (for example, discovery questions) and filler words detected during the call.

On the right side you can play back the recording, see the talk-time breakdown per speaker, and navigate to any moment in the call by clicking the waveform.
