# Change Email

> Change your company or user emails

> Learn how to change your company email, or the emails of your users.

## Email Addresses

For security reasons, we are not able to change email addresses on anyone's behalf, whether for a user or in company settings. However, these are changes you can easily accomplish on your own through the dashboard.

### Change Company Email

1. From the [dashboard](https://dashboard.cloudtalk.io/menu/dashboard), navigate to **Settings > General**.

2. **Company email** is near the top in *General* > **Basic Settings**.

3. Click **Save changes** in the bar that appears at the bottom of the page.

### Change User Email

As an admin, you can change the associated emails of other users.

> **Note that this action will affect** VOIP details for the user and change the email through which they receive notifications and password recovery confirmations.

1. From the [dashboard](https://dashboard.cloudtalk.io/menu/dashboard), navigate to **Users**.

2. Select the edit icon next to the user you want to edit.

3. Within *Basic settings*, you can change the **Email** listed.

4. **Save user** to finalize changes.

### Change User Name

As an admin, you can change the name of any user.

1. From the [dashboard](https://dashboard.cloudtalk.io/menu/dashboard), navigate to **Users**.
2. Select the edit icon next to the user you want to edit.
3. Within *Basic settings*, change the **First name** and **Last name**.
4. **Save user** to finalize changes.

### Change Company Name

The company name on your account can't be changed in the Dashboard. To change it, contact [Support](https://support.cloudtalk.io/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=26305535257884) with the new name.

The company name on your invoices is separate, and you can change it yourself in **Company billing details**. See [Update your billing details](https://help.cloudtalk.io/en/articles/2480470-add-or-update-payment-and-billing-details.md#h_23fc845e0f).
