How do I Configure my Shopify Integration?
Shopify integration setup is quick and easy. No programming is required: just follow the installation steps and you're good to go.

Configure your Shopify integration and start using Shopify with CloudTalk.

Shopify with CloudTalk

By integrating Shopify with CloudTalk, you'll get all the important information about your customers right when you need it.

Agents will have a comprehensive understanding of the customer and their needs with a single click, increasing the productivity of your team and improving the satisfaction of your customers.

How to Set Up

To configure your Shopify integration, follow these steps:

  1. Log into your CloudTalk dashboard account here.

  2. Navigate to Account > Integrations in the left sidebar menu.

  3. Hover over the Shopify integration and select +Add to install the integration.

  4. Fill in your Store domain and Continue.

  5. You will be redirected to the Shopify Log In, where you need to log into your Shopify account.

  6. After a successful login, you will be redirected back to the CloudTalk dashboard. Make sure your integration is set to Active.

  7. Click Save. Your integration is ready to use!

How does it work?

Once the integration is set up, Cloudtalk will import Shopify store customers and their orders. All your contacts will synchronize between CloudTalk and Shopify, and your Shopify orders will be logged to your CloudTalk customer.

Once the integration is configured, only orders will be imported as contact activity.

Your agents will see the customer's orders right when the customer calls in. Thanks to this, agents will have all the relevant information visible during the call, allowing them to handle customer requests more effectively.

Imports and Exports

Calls are not exported to Shopify as an activity. Shopify integration only provides contact and order synchronization at the moment.

Orders imported from Shopify will be shown in CloudTalk as a Contact Activity.

The Activity will include:

  • Order number (#)

  • Order status

  • Item details (Product, Amount, Price, Status)

  • Shipping and Billing addresses

  • Total amount

  • Notes

Make calls directly from Shopify

You can get the click-to-call feature in order to start a call directly from your Chrome browser just by clicking on a number in Shopify. Simply visit our Click to Call page and follow the installation instructions.

We recommend removing all other Chrome extensions or other telco providers which may interfere with the click-to-call feature.
