CloudTalk allows you to create personalized greetings to reflect your business needs. You can choose one of our standard pre-recorded greetings or record your own customized message.

How do I set up my greeting messages

You can set up a greeting to be played when a new call comes in to a particular phone number. You can find the settings under Numbers [1] > Edit > Welcome greeting [2]:

General voicemail message. If an inbound call goes straight into voicemail, the caller can hear a customized message. Just go to Account > Settings [1] > Voicemail message [2].

You can also activate different voicemail messages for different phone numbers, for example in various languages. Just go to the phone number’s editing section [1] > Voicemail message [2].

Please don’t forget to save your settings [3].

Outside business hours message. If an inbound call comes in outside of business hours, the caller can hear this message or be sent to voicemail after hearing the message. You can set up a general message for the whole company or different messages for different phone numbers.

  • To set up a message for the whole company, go to Account > Settings [1] > Business hours > Type [2] (Play a message [3], Play a message and Voicemail).

Please don’t forget to save your settings [4].

To set up a message for a particular phone number, go to the editing page of the required phone number, then go to Business hours > Type (Play a message, Play a message and Voicemail). No need for screenshots here, the menu looks the same as in the previous case.
