# Delete a contact tag

> **LEGACY.** This endpoint keeps working unchanged. For new integrations, use [Delete a contact tag](/api-reference/contacts/delete-a-contact-tag) on `https://api.cloudtalk.io/v1`.

Deletes the contact tag identified by `id`. Returns `404` if no tag has that ID.
